Electrolysis course FAQs
The Basic course consists of 120 hours of online theory, which you complete at your own pace, and 5 days of practice on models in Warsaw. You must pass the theory before the practical part, so we only set the date of the in-person block once you’ve completed it.
No, you don’t need a medical background. We teach the course from scratch: skin and hair structure, growth cycles, contraindications, hygiene and disinfection, choosing probes and settings, plus supervised practice with a trainer. Our students include beauticians and permanent make-up artists as well as people from outside the beauty industry.
Electrolysis is charged by the hour: Polish practices typically charge 220–280 PLN per hour, and a single client comes back more than ten times over a full course of treatments. Material costs are minimal — one probe costs just a few złoty. Your real income depends on your hours in the chair and how busy you are, so at the consultation we’ll calculate it using your figures, not internet averages.
The Basic electrolysis course costs 7,900 PLN gross and includes 120 hours of online theory, 5 days of practice on models, materials and a certificate. You can pay in instalments. If you buy a device, the course fee can be included in the same lease. The face area and blend are the next stages of the electrologist path, priced individually.
To get started, you need an Apilus device, Pro-Tec probes (a pack of 30 from 134 PLN) and skincare for treatments and home care. We send device prices individually on request, along with a model recommendation for your planned workload. All of this, together with the course, can be leased through your company for up to 60 months.
The practical part takes place in Warsaw at ul. Kaliska 23, in a working electrolysis practice, in groups of up to 5. You practise on models and on the full Apilus range — from Junior 3G to xCell Pro; the academy provides all equipment and materials. Classes can be taught in English — just let us know when you sign up.
After the Basic course you receive a certificate from the Dectro Academy — the only academy in Poland accredited by Dectro, the manufacturer of Apilus devices. Classes are led by Kristina Fedoseeva, a trainer with a Dectro Train the Trainer diploma and nine years’ experience in the profession, who has trained over 100 specialists.
Yes. We stay in touch after the course: we help you choose probes and settings for specific cases, answer questions about your first clients, and provide device servicing and supplies. You can also book one-to-one advanced training on the device at our practice.
You complete the theory — 120 hours online — at your own pace, including in the evenings. The practical part requires 5 days in Warsaw. We run weekday and weekend groups and agree the date with you individually when you sign up, well in advance, so you can plan your practice’s schedule.
